It's going to be a wonderful day! Crisp, blue skies and the scent of autumn is in the air. Say good bye to the apocalypse and say 'hello' to a comfortable 72 degrees with a light wind coming out from the southwest. Its a great day to be out and about, expect plenty of sunshine with a few scattered clouds.

For tomorrow! We get to see the same thing! Maybe just a chance for a quick scattered shower here and there, with a high of 65 degrees.

Current Setting:
The Hellmouth has been closed. No more black skies. The world is returning to normal, mending itself from the terrible and wretched scars left behind by Edan, the First, and Lindsey. With them out of power for now, the people on Earth can return to their lives and pick up right where they left off. Enjoy it while it lasts. While evil rests at the moment, there's always the possibility someone else will attempt to start it up all over again.

Previously on Our Darkest Hour ..

Sunnydale is nothing more than a hole in the ground and Los Angeles has disappeared completely, leaving behind a vast crater in the earth where it once was. All the potential Slayers have been called forth, coming into their powers. After searching the world for the newly activated Chosen Ones, her gang, and the newest Slayers head to the new Hellmouth: Rome, Italy; the place where the first Fallen Angel landed and was consumed by earth. With the help of a familiar face, Angel and his crew happen upon the Scoobies while he is there keeping an eye on the world’s oldest and most powerful Law firm, Wolfram & Hart; the same Firm that is interested in buying the demon weapon of destruction. The Colt, which has been stolen from its owners, the Winchester brothers, makes its way into the hands of a newly revived, and newly empowered, CEO of Wolfram & Hart Lindsey McDonald. Just as the Winchester Brothers make their way to Rome, Italy to retrieve their precious demon destroyer, a new face with the name of Edan makes his appearance as well, vowing to enact terror and destruction on the planet in his ultimate revenge against the Senior Partners and founders of the law firm: the Wolf, Ram, and Hart.

Season Two of Our Darkest Hour

The world has been saved. The former hellgod Edan, defeated. The world's oldest and most powerful Hellmouth, closed. Life may piece itself back together and the people of Earth can overjoy and resume to the normalcy of their lives. Not everything appears as it should, however, as new dangers rise and new threats take the stand to tarnish the sancity of all that is good and pure. Four will return. Three will rise. One will get revenge.

The clock is running -- time is almost out -- as a month remains until Lilith comes to claim Dean Winchester's soul. Formidable foes from the past, Angelus, Darla, Drusilla, have arrived to take back their dearest Spike, to form their unbreakable and dangerous family once again. With their base in Jerusalem, the fearsome four will gather and hunger for the destruction of the Slayers and everyone they know, everything they ever stood for may never be the same.

Upon the deaths of the Senior Partners, the otherworldy forces have chosen three new replacements for the Wolf, the Ram, and the Hart. New evils walk amongst them, rising in power and potential. Faces of the familiar, faces of the innocent -- are no longer who they may seem. It leaves all with the question: who are they?

One lurks in the background, ascending in power and wrapped in the throes of vengeance, seeks to destroy those who took everything. The ancient power who molds the power in the dark, will be the danger no one saw coming.

No one can be alone. No one is safe.

Who will live and who will die?

Plot Updates > Edan at the final stage of the ritual was weakened temporarily by Willow. The Slayers, Spike, and Chase fought with blood, sweat, and tears to drag the hell god down. When the spell wore off, Edan was back to his power once again, having ripped the heart out of the mystical werewolf Dawn. It was the mysterious return of Dawn that gripped Edan tight as a portal unexpectedly opened behind the god, sucking him into it, sending him down into the very hell dimension he was sent to in the first place.

Natalia Carlisle found herself in the midst of a small crush for Gabriel Hale upon returning from the battle against Edan, but after realizing that they really could never be, she decided that it was time for her to leave Rome. In leaving, however, she and her taxi driver were attacked by Winter, where the two Slayers fought for the upperhand before Winter disappeared from view. But not before Natalia caught sight of her name inscribed in the handle of her whip, bringing to her attention the prophecy that Gabriel spoke of long ago: "Winter is coming."

Spike was surprised to see Dawn Summers return to life after Edan had completed his ritual, but this was not nearly as much of an issue for him as the disappearance of both Angelus and Darla. He quickly went in pursuit of the two vampires, only to find that they were indeed with Drusilla herself. Knowing he's the final piece of the puzzle, Spike is trying desperately not to fit himself into the equation. But, cornered in the sewer by his Family, it is proving more difficult than he could've imagined.

Ilona Costa Bianchi has been reinstated as CEO of Wolfram & Hart: Rome branch. Her first order of business? Getting back at the Darkling who trapped her in the astral plane, Gabriel Hale. She has already recruited the help of Winter and Andrei, as well as Sarah, in order to ensure Gabriel does not live much longer. Also, reactivating Bela Talbot's contract, she orders her back to the Hotel to do some spying.

Andrei Tatarescu and Winter have made it to Rome, Italy, only to be recruited by Wolfram & Hart for a plan to get their own justice against Gabriele Haelion. Andrei runs into Sarah on the streets, where he brings her about for the plan to go into effect.

After stealing the Impala and attempting to flee Rome to escape her contract with Wolfram & Hart, Bela was stopped at the airport by Ilona, the new CEO. The new CEO told her that if she were to leave Rome without permission of Wolfram & Hart, then her contract with them would be voided, and the contract on her life with Lillith reinstated. Bela was given specific instructions to return to the Hotel del Nevell, place herself inside the inner circle with the intention of using Dean Winchester's impending death as a catalyst to bring Sam Winchester back to Wolfram & Hart as a prospective employee.

Darla has been freed from the confines on the cell in the basement by Angelus and Drusilla. She is still not at full strength, and some memories are still locked away. She has vocally expressed her dislike for Drusilla, preferring to only have Angelus around. While she was locked up she became quite taken with Dean Winchester, vowing to turn him into a vampire in the near future.

After months of moping around after the loss of Anya, Xander is now trying desperately to win her back. After seeing her alive and well in Willow's room he's determined to make things right. He's also learned about her beogn a demon again but he's decided that it's better to have a demon Anya than no Anya at all.

Fred has returned, after a spell to recover Illyria’s powers went hopelessly awry. Incarcerated and traumatized in the lab of Rome’s Wolfram and Hart, she’s relying on the help of an old ally, Charles Gunn to ensure her release from Ilona Costa Bianchi. Even as her memories return, she is unaware that the people she knew and loved have changed somewhat in her absence…

Anya has been resurrected from the dead via ancient and long forgotten magic, courtesy of the vengeance demon that still lingered within her. She was raised and enlisted by D’Hoffryn to partake in a war between feuding clans of demons that threatened the entirety of his race. After a grueling and successful battle, she has been granted the freedom to track down old acquaintances and possibly reform old relationships. The price? She’s stuck in her demonic state for the foreseeable future.

Castiel in the battle to close the Hellmouth, came up against the root of all evil itself: the First. Staying behind so the others could move forward, the Seraphim faced the maleficient spirit and sacrificed himself so the sake of the world could be saved. The First blasted the angel right out of his vessel, leaving Matthew's body behind, while Castiel has not been seen since. The thought of his return is unknown.

Dawn at the hands of Edan had her heart torn out so the hellion could call forth the last of the Senior Partners, the Wolf. He defeated the wolf, in hopes of reclaiming the power he had lost. She died before she realized the others had come, before she could witness the spell Willow performed that weakened Edan. In the midst of the battle, just as the spell wore off and Edan's power regained it's strength, Dawn awoke. Time slowed, everyone paused in their own actions as a portal opened to swallowe Edan. Dawn has no memory or recollection of anything after her death -- only that she awoke and Edan was no where to be found.

Dean Winchester nearly witnessing the end of the world with his brother, Sam, stood on the frontlines with the rest at the Hellmouth. As the world was saved and the others headed back to the hotel, he stayed behind to interrogate Madison about Castiel's true identity. It is too his discovery and disbelief, Castiel is an angel. He saw his car being stolen by Bela and wanted to kill her immediately. Yet upon returning to the hotel and fighting Sam for a candy bar then storming off after a vision, Bela entered the room. She explained Wolfram and Hart, the company that contracted her to work for, are interested in Sam.

Dennis, the former Phantom Dennis who haunted Cordelia's apartment, was down in the lobby with Oz and Sebastian, had his first vision of the Slayers fighting Edan and the others at the Hellmouth. Not understanding this all, he seeked shelter upstairs in the room. He wandered down hall to join Wesley and Cordelia, with the addition of Giles and Gunn, and learned of the new potential of a demon in the hotel: Gabriel Hale. While listening, Dennis watched Gunn, and knew the man was not who he made himself out to be. This information, he kept to himself -- for now.

Gabriel Hale led the team who rescued Willow. He stood by and watched the fight escalate between Lindsey and Sarah. Unbeknown to the others, who punched him prior for the sword that was never used, knew she has a taste for the dark side. He returned to the hotel with the others, only to be approached by Madison for the sword, in which the two fought over. Gabriel nearly slipped, letting loose the control he had garnished over the century. And now he stands up in his room, enduring a confrontation with the Watcher, Rupert Giles.

Lindsey McDonald after the timeless defeat with Sarah Merteuil, he is no longer the CEO of Wolfram and Hart -- as Ilona was reinstated. He stood in her office angry, threatening he would one day regain his position. The First, however, had other plans as it sauntered in the office appearing as Lilah Morgan -- Lindsey's former rival. The First blasted Lindsey and burned away the demonic presence he had been given, returning him to his former human self. Madison, Lindsey's old prisoner, came to claim him -- dragging him listlessly to the hotel.

Loki, a mysterious new visitor from another world, fell through a slit in the veil when realities were at it's thinnest. He stumbled upon the hellion at one point and stole his appearance -- replicating Edan and downloading the mesh of peculiar ideas and memories. He ran into a young woman named Envie and proceeded to attack her, believing by the memories they were of the norm. She was rescued by an unknown male. Loki is following at a distance, to the large mountainous building he can see afar.

Sam Winchester bled onto the Word of Valios and the Hellmouth closed. He drove back to the hotel with Bela, and learned she was leaving, and knew it was for the best. He was witness to her thievery, as she sped off in the Impala. He hurried inside, not wanting to face the wrath of his brother, and did so anyway, when he stole his last Twix bar. During the tussle, Sam received a vision of a woman in trouble, and ran off without explanation to save her from the hellgod he thought they had extinguished. He went back to his room shortly after, to discover Bela had returned, knowing not the truth of why.

Wesley stayed behind to translate the scrolls and ended up drinking almost all of Giles' whiskey, in which he mocked the Watcher and was soon joined by Cordelia. Giles and Gunn arrived some time after -- Gunn explained the threat to the hotel by a demon named Gabriel. They were to be on guard, cautious around the individual. When everyone left, Wesley took some scrolls and headed to his room, where he continues to translate and remember the memories he lost after his death.

Winter Hale has arrived in Rome with her partner and fellow Darkling Andrei. She met up with Ilona when she was summoned, to help the new CEO out of the astral plane. There she requested to work for the woman and learned of her dislike of Gabriele Haelion. They formed a plan to blackmail the Darkling so that they may collect him or his life. Winter also discovered someone else would be joining them. Winter headed off to meet the other Slayers and fortunately ran into Natalia. The two fought it out in the streets with blood, sweat, and tears and each left with their own wounds to show for it. Winter went back to Andrei, and met the Slayer Sarah Merteuil, who would help them drown out the fugitive Darkling.
